Lift off at Leverhulme Mark and RAM

On Monday 20th of October, Leverhulme Royal Ark Mariner lodge held its regular meeting, tyling at 5.30pm and in the presence of our RW Provincial Grand Master welcomed a joining member in WBro Paul Neal who had returned to the order after a 30 year gap, and was made fully welcome by the Commander Ian Anderson. Indeed a further proposition was also made for joining member bro Dave Loughlin, so a further two members for the Royal Ark Mariner degree.

Following that meeting a tyling at 6.30pm, it was the installation meeting of Leverhulme Mark Lodge, and in excellent ceremony Bro Nigel McLlelland was installed in fine manner by Wbro Derek Blackburn.

The lodge also welcomed Bro Paul as a joining member, and the propositions where also held for a further joining member in Bro Dave Loughlin, and a candidate for advancement in Craig Lambert (who originally showed interest from the Gold Card initiative) hopefully at their next regular meeting,in February.

With a progressive ladder now almost exclusively comprising brothers, this is indicative of the hard work and outlook of the lodge, which meets at Clifton road Birkenhead from just three years ago, with a healthy increase in numbers of 9 subscribing members in that relatively short time, a similar scenario for the leverhulme RAM lodge.

It was also a great way to celebrate the lodges 60th anniversary since consecration.
