A family affair in Cheshire.
The Mark and indeed Royal Ark Mariner degrees, especially in Cheshire, prides itself on inclusivity, with an outlook and events geared towards friends and family whenever possible.
Friday 16th proved that in ample fashion
With two of our lodges having an especial family connection with their meetings.
Firstly at Eaton Mark in Congleton, WBro Paul Cutler had the distinct honour of installing his son Storm into the Chair of Adonirum in front of our APGM Ian Muirhead
Eaton Lodge who have struggled in recent history due to ill health and member moving away, number have reduced. But, the mood is changing and what a special night for the lodge tonight, WM Paul, who has held the chair for 2 years to allow younger members to catch up, had the absolute honour ( his words) of installing his Son as the next master of the lodge.
Meanwhile at Neston Royal Ark Mariner lodge, the RWPGM Gary Horstman, accompanied by The Deputy Provincial Grand Master John Miller, witnessed the Worshipful Commander Chris Davies, elevate his father John into the degree, in an excellent and sincere ceremony, assisted by the officers of the lodge.
As the officers left they were treated to a wonderful Royal ark Mariner sign, a Rainbow…..
